About Me
My name is Monica Ray and I'm 18 years old. My freshmen year in high school was easy and breezy. I got through it no problem with good grades all year. Once I hit my sophomore year I started to become less motivated and I missed a lot of school. My grades suddenly dropped down to barely passing and after that school year was over I just gave up. My entire junior year of high school I did not attend school once because I dropped out.
When the next school year came around I knew I needed to do something and get back into school. My mom brought me to enroll here at Western Options and here I've gotten so much done and they have helped me catch up so much work. If it wasn't for me coming to this school this year, I wouldn't be graduating on time with my class and I would have never met the friends and the teachers that I did. The person I value most in my life is my mother because all that she has done for me. Without her I don't think I would have ever made it this far.
My goals in life are a little larger than my expectations but I'm hoping to succeed. By the time I'm at least 25, I want to be somewhat settled in life. I want to have an associates degree and hopefully a child around that time. In the later years of my life as I advance in college I want to become a surgeon.
